I commented once before on my thoughts about local papers and raked some data then available on the newspapers’ umbrella website. Now they’ve fancied it up, and the results from this page are reproduced below, though I’m buggered if I know what some of them are intended to mean, and find it hard to believe there are as many Mercs as Mazdas. Apparenly Abbotsford is the Melbourne postcode with the greatest proportion of gay to straight couples: 11% gay. But there seems to be another suburb with more Buddhists than 13%.
